先强村是龙山街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区，位于龙江出海口一带。1958年定名先强，此前原名「前朝」。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

村子位于龙江出海口，原名「前朝」，因读音与「仙游」相近而称仙游。1958年定名为先强。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属感德乡新安里，明代时此地为西隅新安里的第4图。1943年隶属海口镇元龙乡，内有仙游保。[1]

1950年隶属第二区仙游乡；1958年归海口公社，成立先强大队。1984年起称村委会，隶属海口镇；2006年12月，区划调整后归入龙山街道。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

先强村于2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生村」，据博雅地名网与百度百科所载。[1][3]
