南宅村是龙山街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。村居建筑座北向南，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属太平乡永东里，明代归东隅永东里1图，1910年后属永东乡。1943年隶属海口镇元龙乡，属坊底保，分为5甲。[1]

1950年起隶属里美乡（先在第二区，后在第十区），1955年属海口区里美乡，1956年转归柏渡乡。1958年隶属海口公社里美大队。1980年分出，设南宅大队；1984年起称村委会，归海口镇。2005年12月起属龙山街道。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

南宅村在2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
