金墩社区隶属福清市玉屏街道，位于城区中心，辖区面积约0.15平方千米。社区因辖区内有金墩路而得名。[1][2]

名称来源[edit]

社区名字来自辖内的金墩路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1997年5月，金墩居民区委员会从小桥社区析出。2003年6月，它又更名为社区居委会，名字里仍保留「融城」与「金墩」二字，后随区划调整归玉屏街道。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2008年，社区获福建省委颁予的「全省先进基层党组织」称号。[2]

2025年12月，社区列入「2025年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
