东进村属福建省福州市平潭县东庠乡管辖。该村原名跃进，1981年地名普查时因与他处重名，改为东进。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国末，东进为东庠乡澳底保的辖地。1949年归东庠乡，1956年并入东庠高级社，1958年成为流水分社东庠大队的一部分。[1] 1961年建大队时用的是跃进之名，1981年因重名改称东进，1984年大队改为村委会。[1] 2021年4月乡镇调整后仍由东庠乡管辖。[1]
