旺宾村位于屿头乡之下，为其中一个行政村。村里保有几座百年古厝，还有老榕树，沿湖铺设了木栈道。[1]

该村于2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，它随公社化并入平原公社屿头大队。1961年，分出来单设旺宾大队；1984年，大队转为村委会。[1][2]

2021年4月调整区划后，旺宾村仍由屿头乡管辖。[2]

经济[edit]

早先渔业是本村的主业，后来青年外出，农田撂荒。[1]

有青年回乡创业，将百余亩荒地改作百香果园，带动村民就业。[1]
