砂美村位于君山镇小痒岛南部，三面环海，以鲍鱼养殖为主导产业。[1][2]

2021年12月，村庄被确定为2021年度福建省「一村一品」示范村（鲍鱼）。[1][2]

公社化时期砂美属流水大队，1961年另立砂美大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

如今它与流水镇时期的其他村庄一样归君山镇管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

全国「一村一品」示范村的认定时间，两处资料不同。百度百科称，2022年11月农业农村部公示其为第十二批全国「一村一品」示范村；博雅地名网则记为2023年3月认定为「第十二批全国一村一品示范村镇」（鲍鱼）。[2][1]
