钱便澳村处在平潭岛南部，朝向北面，背靠山地，南面临海，属金井镇下辖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中自明朝延续下来的古村落形态保存完好。2015年，村子列入第一批福建省级传统村落。[1]

经济[edit]

村民用花岗岩、火山岩等材料砌筑石头厝，石头厝占到全村建筑面积的80%左右。[1]

村子以渔业为重要支柱，码头建在一处澳口，附近有浮斗澳、沙仔澳等天然良港。[1]

文化[edit]

2025年，省级「一村一品」专业村（鲍鱼养殖）的称号授予了本村。[1]
