向阳村原属敖东镇，2021年4月起由金井镇管辖，与龙海村、敖网村、新垄村、建民村相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国末年属南安保，1949年划入二区，1961年分社时隶属北厝公社。[1]

1966年，由数个自然村划出，设立向阳大队，归敖东公社管辖。[1]

1969年，村民从北厝镇迁来定居。1984年，大队改设为村委会。2021年以后归金井镇管理。[1]
