澳尾村位于金井镇境内，与坛南社区、坛西社区、新城社区和如意社区相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国末年澳尾村属复兴乡。1949年划入二区里美乡，1956年合作化时编入恒星社。[1]

1958年公社化时归湖西大队，1961年分队后改属里美大队；1984年，大队改设为村委会。[1]

1990年2月，平潭人民政府批准由里美村委会分出澳尾，另立村委会。此地在2021年以后归金井镇，此前为北厝镇辖地。[1]
