厝祥村位于原北厝镇西部，省道305线贯穿村中心区域，2021年行政区划调整后改由金井镇管辖。[1]

村域总面积约2万平方米。东面与沃尾村相接，西面是红山村，南边靠近原平潭盐场，北边挨着北务里村。[1]

人口民族[edit]

户籍人口833人，下辖六个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民早年建屋于山垄之中，村名原作厝垄仔，后改雅名为厝祥。[1]

文化[edit]

村委会获得过2018至2022年度平潭综合实验区「三八红旗集体」称号。[1]
