金井镇是福建省福州市平潭综合实验区下辖的镇，镇政府驻新垄村。[1]

2021年4月撤销北厝镇和敖东镇，并置金井镇，行政区域沿用两镇原有的界线。[1] 镇名取自辖区内的金井湾，综合实验区管委会设在湾畔，此后金井新城逐步成形。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

金井镇成立后，原北厝镇与敖东镇所属各村自2021年起改由金井镇管辖。[1]

2023年10月，金井镇入选「2023年福建省“全域生态旅游小镇”」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

江继芸墓在北厝镇田美村南，墓主为清道光年间任金门镇总兵的江继芸，他在鸦片战争中抗击英军后殉国，归葬于此。[2]

墓建于清道光二十三年（1843年），1991年4月公布为第三批福建省文物保护单位。[1][3]

龟山营寨遗址位于北厝镇三十六脚湖的大龟山上。寨墙以块石和乱毛石垒成，分里、中、外三层；建寨者是明末水军都督周鹤芝，他当年据守海坛，与清军对抗。[4]

该遗址1988年被定为县级文物保护单位，至2018年又公布为第九批省级文物保护单位。[4]
