翠云村隶属福建省福州市永泰县丹云乡，位于县境东北部，与葛岭镇、闽侯县毗邻，距乡政府8千米。[1]
2019年6月，村子被收入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；2024年1月，获命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子处于高山峻岭之间，林木葱茏，远望一片青翠，故取此名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子依傍天台山麓，海拔687米，四季分明，雨量充沛，年平均气温约16摄氏度。[2]
境内有大量花岗岩，并有钼、锌、铜、铅、高岭土等矿藏。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属丰和乡待旦里八都，1915至1935年间属北区。1961年并入丹云人民公社，为其翠云生产大队；1984年改由丹云乡管辖，改称翠云村委会。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
据《永泰县第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物目录清单》，村内有清代所建的飞炉庙，以及位于翠云小学西南约50米处的次云寨。[3]
