蒲溪村位于福州市永泰县白云乡北部，地处永泰与闽清县交界处，海拔约500米，属丘陵地带。村境东接闽侯县竹岐乡春光村，北接闽侯县鸿尾乡安樟村，西接东溪村，南接白云村。[1][2]

村名取两个自然村各一字：村委会恰好位于葱蒲坑与双溪两个自然村之间，于是各取一字，称作蒲溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年，白云人民公社设蒲溪生产大队；1984年，它改为白云乡蒲溪村委会。清代，村地属中和乡新丰里十九都。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村内有一条通村水泥路；另有一条乡间小道，通往闽侯县竹岐乡的春光村。村里有水塔一座，灌溉渠道约300米。用电用水都够用。有线电视尚未覆盖，移动电话信号已经开通。[1][2]

森林方面，有林地640亩，竹林340亩，生态林1900亩。村中有一棵四百多年的红豆杉，属国家一级保护树木。[1][2]

村里共有451人、123户，下辖葱蒲坑、双溪两个自然村，分为7个村民小组，村民全是汉族。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村民以种植业为主，耕地520亩。所种的槟榔芋等蔬菜销往闽南、广东等地。村民大多外出务工、经商。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把蒲溪村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
