凤际村位于福州市永泰县白云乡西北部，海拔约640米，属丘陵地带，村境面积11.57平方千米。东面与岭下村接壤，西面与红星乡相接，南面与清凉镇相接，北面与樟洋村相连。[1][2]

村中林地有13570亩，竹林850亩，森林资源丰富。村内有一条通村水泥路，水电条件充足，有线电视信号覆盖全村。[1]

全村1771人，共432户，辖6个自然村，博雅地名网列出的名称为利洋、党兜、在里、南峰、下洋，另有一处未列名；分为23个村民小组，村民全是汉族。[1][2]

耕地2338亩，粮食够自给。茶叶种植面积超过两千亩，其中300亩为铁观音，所产茶叶销往北京、青岛等地。月柿、青梅、茭白、苦瓜、青瓜等经济作物合计约1700亩。村里有茶场四座。[1][2]
