尧祥村是福建省福州市永泰县红星乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境西北部，有省道211线从村境穿过。村域面积4.68平方千米，所辖自然村3个，村民小组19个，户籍人口1008人，常住人口340人。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名寓意尧舜之世的太平吉祥，故称尧祥。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地归中和乡新丰里十九都，民国时属县北区。1954年合作化期间，此地组成的是尧祥高级社；1958年，它归白云公社官村管理区，成为尧祥生产大队；1961年改属红星公社；1984年设为红星乡尧祥村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，尧祥村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[2]

政府网站称，尧祥村曾获评省级卫生村。[1]
