水尾村是福建省福州市永泰县盘谷乡下辖的行政村，全村下辖6个自然村。方壶岩寺与方壶岩摩崖石刻位于村内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名「水尾」，据博雅地名网，因村位于盘谷乡地势最低处、即乡的尾部而得名。[1]

1958年归大洋人民公社盘谷管理区管辖，下设水尾生产大队。1981年改为盘谷人民公社，水尾生产大队仍在；1984年大队改制，成为水尾村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

水尾文昌阁为清道光十一年（1831年）的建筑，后于1998年翻修。楼阁为土木结构，六角三层，顶部攒尖，占地360多平方米，内供文昌大帝、大王公、大王母与土地公，是当地群众的一处信仰场所。该阁于2016年进入永泰县第九批县级文保名录。[2]

第三次全国文物普查登记的水尾陂（清）也在村内，位于文昌阁旁。[3]
