后官村位于霞拔乡南部，东邻仁里村，西连富洋村与锦安村，南望南坪村，北接霞拔村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子最初叫后坑里厚溪境，黄成汉公改称后官，村名由此而来。民国期间划入霞东乡的富南保，人民公社时期设大队，1984年定名后官村。[1]
教育[edit]
清嘉庆以后是村中教育的兴盛期，乾隆以后的霞拔唯一中举者即出于本村。村中的萃美庄大厅挂有“宝书堂”匾额。[1]
1996年，村民集资在前洋建起三层砖混结构的小学教学楼。[1]
红色资源与荣誉[edit]
乡政府网站称，本乡以后官村的“红色”文化为依托，打造党建研学基地；萃美庄的文化底蕴也用于党建品牌项目。[2]
永泰县人民政府网2024年7月的报道称，后官村获评「福建省乡村振兴示范村」。[3]
