周坑村位于东洋乡东部，距乡政府约5千米，东与霞拔乡锦安村交界，北与霞拔乡南坪村为邻。全村辖4个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前此地称周安村。旧称永福县三十都和平乡感应里双溪境的周安乡，土地改革后，因四周环山、村内溪坑相连，改名周坑。[1]

公社时期，周坑先属东洋管理区，后编入东洋人民公社，称周坑生产大队；1984年改设周坑村委会，隶属东洋乡。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的绍安庄俗称周坑寨，为清代庄寨建筑，是全国重点文物保护单位（详见东洋乡条目）。[1][3][4]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，周坑村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录；2019年6月，列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
