小洋村位于永泰县城西北部，属盖洋乡管辖，距县城约85公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子地处高山上的一片小盆地中，规模不大，村名由此而来。[1]

清代隶属和平乡应达里三十六都。1958年起，本村是嵩口公社盖洋管理区的小洋生产大队；1961年划入盖洋人民公社，仍为小洋生产大队；1984年设立小洋村委会。[1]

村民以种植业和劳务为主要收入来源，村中种植花椒，全村耕地414亩。[1]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，小洋村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录。2021年11月，省级爱卫机构授予小洋村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2023年12月，小洋村被认定为市级一村一品专业村，主导产品为花椒。[1]
