奋斗村在县城西北方，离县城75公里，离盖洋乡政府约1公里，属盖洋乡管辖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原为「龟脰」。文化大革命期间改名为奋斗，1981年地名普查时正式定名。[1]

清代时此地属和平乡应达里三十六都，民国期间划入南区。1958年，它是嵩口公社盖洋管理区的龟脰生产大队；1961年改隶盖洋人民公社，其间改名为奋斗生产大队；1984年设奋斗村民委员会。[1]
