山寨村是福建省福州市永泰县洑口乡的行政村，位于乡境西部，西与德化县交界，海拔在601米至903米之间。[1][2]

村名的来历是，村处高山之上，山间建有一座古寨，早先称「山寨坊」，后简称「山寨」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村境属山地立体气候，山多田少，农业以水稻和水果为主，养殖以鸡鸭为主。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属和平乡应达里三十六都。[1]

1958年，山寨并入嵩口公社的洑口管理区，成为其中的山寨生产大队；1961年改属洑口人民公社，队名未改。“文革”期间曾称上寨生产大队，1981年复称山寨；1984年，洑口乡设山寨村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2016年5月，本村被福建省人民政府认定为「第五批福建省历史文化名镇名村」。[1]

2019年1月，本村入选「第七批中国历史文化名村」；同年6月列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

2022年10月，本村经省农业农村部门认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年2月，本村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有祥福堂，清道光二十八年（1848年）由黄贵郎始建，为永泰县县级文物保护单位。[3]
