石梯村位于永泰县赤锡乡境内，村后有较多岩石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村地属中和乡龙津里二十六都。[1]

1958年，石梯归梧桐公社赤锡管理区，设石梯生产大队；1961年赤锡人民公社成立，村仍称石梯生产大队；1984年起改设赤锡乡石梯村委会。[1]

2022年12月，村子经福建省爱卫会命名，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

文化[edit]

村名的由来：村后山上岩石较多，层层叠起形似阶梯，旧时村中的主路也用石块砌成台阶，故称石梯。[1]
