历史沿革[edit]

1915年至1935年间，此地归中区管辖；清代则属中和乡龙津元里二十六都。[1]

1958年，溪门归梧桐公社赤锡管理区，设溪门生产大队；1961年赤锡人民公社设立，村仍为溪门生产大队。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名村子为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

村名的由来：村子三面环山，赤锡溪从此处流出，地势形似门户，故称溪门。[1]
