历史沿革[edit]
清代村地属中和乡龙津里二十五都。[1]
1958年，下万归梧桐公社的赤锡管理区，设下万生产大队；1961年赤锡人民公社组建，此村仍为下万生产大队；1984年，它成为赤锡下万村村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
桂峰宫为明代建筑，在下万村，2017年列入永泰县第一批历史建筑名录。[2]
文化[edit]
村名的由来：旧时村中一位财主家资丰厚，住在村子下部，村名因此称作「下万」。[1]
