寨下村在岭路乡藤山片，距乡政府13公里，地处青云山脚下，平均海拔550米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

地名的来历是村子位于青云山下，山上原有一座古庄寨。[1]

1984年改为岭路乡寨下村委会，1961年时属岭路人民公社的寨下生产大队。清代此地归中和乡元铺里十二都。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子东南面与莆田相邻，西面与潭后村接壤，北面与对山村毗邻，全村面积13平方千米。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网在寨下村页写明水帘宫景区在村境内；同一网站的对山村页则把水帘宫和青龙瀑布景群列为对山的景点，两村所载不同。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

寨下村于2022年12月获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，授予方为省爱国卫生运动委员会。[1]
