历史沿革[edit]
地名的来历是整个村庄的地形像一片树叶。[1]
1984年改设为岭路乡叶洋村委会。在此之前，1961年它为岭路人民公社的叶洋生产大队。清代此地属中和乡唐元里二十五都。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域东面邻庄边村，西北面与赤锡乡东坑村相连，全村土地总面积15平方千米。[1][2]

2014年，村中户籍为206户740人。[2]
荣誉[edit]
省爱卫办授予叶洋村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，时间是2021年11月。[1]
