协星村距富泉乡政府约5公里，村中雷氏畲族居民占多数。2025年3月，该村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取村民团结和睦、同心协力之意。[1]

清代村地属中和乡龙津里二十六都。1958年划入城关公社富泉管理区，设协星生产大队；1961年改属富泉人民公社；1984年改设富泉乡协星村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

村中建有县级畲族民俗馆，据乡人民政府网称为首个。[2]

荣誉[edit]

省爱卫办于2021年11月命名协星村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；省农业农村厅在2022年10月认定该村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
