富泉乡位于福建省福州市永泰县西部，乡政府驻地在力华村。[1][3]

大樟溪与富泉溪流经全乡，乡境紧邻界竹口水库，并建有芭蕉、得石两座水库；林地面积56.2平方千米，森林覆盖率达72.59%。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原名界竹口、爱竹口，因满山竹林而得名，后因乡政府驻地溪边有一眼温泉，改称富泉。博雅地名网释“富”字为共同富裕之意，维基百科则称“富”字带有未来和文雅之意。[4][3]

宋时属中和乡龙津里，元代分为十六、十八两都，明清时期此地仍在中和乡龙津里之内。民国初隶中区，1936年归入一区，1938年改隶三爱乡。[4]

1952年分设为三个乡，富泉乡归一区管辖；1958年三乡同属城关人民公社，设富泉管理区；1961年析出富泉人民公社；1984年改设富泉乡。[3][4]

人口民族[edit]

永泰县人民政府网载，全乡户籍2514户、6848人，常住人口1890人。百度百科记截至2019年末辖区户籍人口7236人。[1][2]

全乡畲族人口2190人，乡内有协星、芭蕉、瑞应三个畲族村。[1]

经济[edit]

乡里因地制宜发展青梅种植和油茶加工等特色产业，在全县率先探索「福林票」制度改革，把林地资源转化为资产与资金。[1]

文化[edit]

富泉民族中心小学是全县唯一的民族小学，开设畲语班和民族舞蹈班。协星村的县级畲族民俗馆，乡人民政府网称为首个。[1]

2014年6月，环境保护部授予富泉乡「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月命名富泉乡为「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」。乡人民政府网另载，富泉乡为市级文明乡镇，并为市级「四好农村路」示范乡镇。[4][1]
