霄洋村是永泰县大洋镇下辖的行政村，东侧与同安相隔的是山丘，西侧与霞拔乡以连绵山脉为界，中间一条小溪贯穿全村。村里有3个自然村，村民由余、林两个姓氏宗族组成。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子原名“肖洋”，周边原为肖氏居住。后肖姓绝嗣，余氏迁入，“肖洋”与“霄洋”读音相近，遂改称霄洋。[1]

祠堂与古迹[edit]

余氏宗祠在村小学旁，为省级文物保护单位。[2]

村中的宝善庄由余悠贤在清咸丰六年（1856年）修建，屋为双层土木结构，2009年因拆迁而废弃。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，霄洋村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
