珠洋村是永泰县大洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西南侧，北与苍霞村、麟阳村相接，南与旗东村相连。村落面积约3.67平方公里，辖4个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子地势平坦。相传宋代村中一女子入宫为妃，皇帝赐她一颗宝珠，村名由此得来，称珠洋。[1]

姓氏与宗祠[edit]

村民多姓余，另有连、李、陈等姓，多是明永乐二年（1404年）前后从各地迁来。余氏宗祠被收入「八闽祠堂大全」，并列入全国名祠。[2]

荣誉[edit]

珠洋村在2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
