云台村是永泰县同安镇的行政村，村名取自村子地处高山、山峰常被云雾缭绕、形似琼台的景象。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

因地处高山，山峰上常有云雾缠绕，外形像琼台，村名由此得来。[1]

清代，村子隶属中和乡官贤里的二十三都。1958年划入大洋公社的同安管理区，称云台生产大队；1961年改由同安人民公社管辖，仍用此名。1984年改为同安乡下属的云台村民委员会，1992年再改为同安镇云台村民委员会。[1]
