清凉村隶属福建省福州市永泰县清凉镇，位于镇的北部，离镇所在地0.2公里，镇政府驻地即在本村。村名得自旧时村民在清凉寺周围聚居的情形。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村民旧时聚居在清凉寺周围，该寺始建于梁乾化三年，村名由此而来。1992年改设清凉镇清凉村民委员会，前身为1984年改设的清凉乡清凉生产大队。1961年自城关公社分出，归清凉人民公社，辖清凉生产大队；1958年时则属城关公社清凉管理区。1950年至1951年属第一区，清代为中和乡光德里。[1]

2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，又入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域东邻村尾村，西连芹洋村，南与古岸村相接，北与北斗村相连。耕地1157亩，其中水田1059亩；林地4889亩，水果面积2645亩，以青梅为主。村内有自来水厂一座，日供水300吨。[2]
