小田村隶属福建省福州市永泰县清凉镇，位于镇的西北部，离镇所在地3.2公里。村名来自驻地旁的两丘大田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

驻地旁有两丘大田，较大的一丘撒种120斤，较小的一丘撒种60斤，村委会设在小的那丘旁边，村名由此而来。民国初年至1935年间属北区，清代则是中和乡光德里的一部分。1961年改属清凉人民公社，村内设小田生产大队；1984年改设清凉乡小田村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年10月，村庄入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2022年12月，又被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域东邻芹洋村，西连村尾村，南与北斗村相接，北与旗山村相连。耕地1161亩，其中水田1113亩；水果面积1577亩，以青梅、橄榄和柿为主。境内有梧岭辉绿岩矿。[2]
