葛岭村位于永泰县东部，是葛岭镇人民政府的驻地。村子西与九老村、溪西村相邻，东与塘前乡接壤，北接龙村。全村下辖八个自然村。[1][2]

方广岩寺[edit]

方广岩寺所在的方广岩位于本村山腰，是一处天然洞穴，岩体如瓦片覆盖，俗称「一片瓦」。[3][5]

寺庙始建于宋建隆二年（961年），明清两代多次重修，殿宇依山而建，正殿匾额「显密圆通」出自左宗棠之手。[3][5]

人物[edit]

会计学家侯文铿（1924年生）出身于本村的田挡自然村，据百度百科，他曾任福州大学会计系主任。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地为丰和乡保安里六都，民国时划入东区。1961年组建葛岭人民公社时，本村为其中的葛岭大队；1984年随公社改设乡，称葛岭村委会；1992年改为葛岭镇的葛岭村委会。[2]
