蒲边村是葛岭镇西部的行政村，下辖车坑、布莲坑、潮渔、蒲边四个自然村。村内的将军堂建筑群为福建省级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代编入丰和乡待旦里的十都，民国时期（1915至1935年）隶属东区。1961年，此地组成葛岭人民公社的蒲边大队；1984年随公社改设乡，改称蒲边村委会；1992年又随乡改镇，成为葛岭镇的蒲边村委会。[1]

将军堂建筑群[edit]

建筑群由将军堂与桃源宫两组建筑组成，年代为明清，分布于布莲坑一带。[2][3]

将军堂建于明永乐年间（1403至1424年），为坐西向东的建筑。它的占地约四百平方米，建筑面积则约三百五十平方米。[2]

桃源宫的修建可追溯到明代万历年间（1573至1620年）。如今所见的建筑，主要建于清代道光与同治年间。[2]

物产[edit]

村中水果有青梅、三月桃、柑橘、柿子、板栗、芙蓉李和猴李等，博雅地名网称其中多为无公害产品。[1]
