上埕村地处永泰县西北，属大樟溪中游一带，有203省道从村中穿过，东侧与中埕村相接，距县城约25公里。村落面积1.8平方千米，辖2个自然村、15个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取其位置在平原的上部。旧称“文波境”。1986年起设梧桐乡上埕村民委员会，1989年改由梧桐镇管辖。[1][3]
2024年1月，村里被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1][3]
姓氏宗族[edit]
村中以黄、张、柯、林、汪五姓为主，黄姓人口最多。黄氏先祖据载自河南开封迁来，宋末再迁至此地。黄氏祠堂属于福州十邑名祠的一类。[2][3]
经济[edit]
村里盛产李果，加工成李咸、青梅、橄榄、柿饼等，销往全国各地。[2]
