埔埕村地处永泰县西北，沿大樟溪中游，村内有203省道经过，东侧与赤锡乡相接，距县城约25公里。博雅地名网载村落面积21平方千米，百度百科注明此数为原埔埕三村的范围。村内辖3个自然村、16个村民小组。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取义于地处大樟溪畔，溪水弯成弧形，沙土堆积成埕，形成田园，地势平坦。旧属永福县十六都，称埔埕乡。南宋《淳熙三山志》记作“峬岭”，明代设埔埕屯。[1][2][3]

1958年划归梧桐公社的埔埕管理区，1961年改属梧桐人民公社，1984年划入梧桐乡，1989年归梧桐镇。[1]

2024年1月，村里被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

井兜厝的古井建于南宋丙午年间（1186年），井沿被吊桶绳索磨出凹痕，井旁一只石槽上刻有庆元二年（1196年）字样。[2]

村中央有一口人工挖掘的莲塘，约十亩，常年蓄水，既可防火，又能抗旱灌溉。[2]

圣公岩在铁券山崖上，岩下荫凉，庙宇经重修。崖壁上刻有“龙津”二字，是考证埔埕前身“龙津”境的依据之一。[2]

椽板龙民俗在村中延续，并已列入省级非物质文化遗产名录。[3]

经济[edit]

村里以李果、青梅的种植与加工为主，李果加工成“嘉应子”。地热开发之后，村里又兴起了温泉水产养殖。[2][3]
