梧埕村属嵩口镇，位于镇西南方向的大樟溪左岸，村内有梧埕、湖后、半岭、福斗4个自然村，村民小组共11个。[1]

村域面积15平方千米，丘陵是主要地貌，大樟溪穿过村域。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村对面有座山形如卧牛，山下又有片平埕叫“牛埕”；“牛”与“梧”读音接近，后来雅化写作「梧埕」。[1]

1984年改设为嵩口镇梧埕村民委员会。1961年它是嵩口人民公社的梧埕生产大队，1958年为嵩口管理区所辖。清代隶属和平乡英达里三十四都。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中留有古民居，如梧埕瑞安居、湖后寨，并有木雕等景观资源。[1]

文化[edit]

梧埕村是中华秋沙鸭的重要越冬地。[2]

2022年12月，梧埕村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」；2023年2月，「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单公布，梧埕村入选。[1]
