村洋村位于永泰县西南部，村名由村墘自然村与闽里洋自然村各取一字组成。村庄距嵩口镇约13公里，距永泰县城57公里。[1]

村落面积25平方千米，辖23个村民小组，桃花溪纵贯全村，民房沿溪排列。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，本村设为嵩口镇村洋村民委员会。1981年，因与同安公社的洋中大队重名，改称村洋；1961年它曾是嵩口人民公社的洋中生产大队。清代归中和乡感应里二十九都。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域属亚热带季风气候，林地3.2万亩，其中生态公益林1.1万亩。村中还产毛竹、篓竹，并出产花生、青瓜、竹笋等。[2]

经济[edit]

芙蓉李是村中的主要物产，果农将其加工成原味李干，畅销国内外。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，村洋村经福建省爱卫办确定，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
