佳洋村属嵩口镇，离镇政府约18公里，全村面积19.5平方千米；村内共有11个自然村，划分为29个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：村中有一片田洋，周围又连着多片田洋，古时此地林木茂密，山路盘旋，村名由此而来。[1]

1984年改为嵩口镇佳洋村民委员会；此前1961年为嵩口人民公社佳洋生产大队，1958年归嵩口公社管理区。1952年设嵩口区佳洋乡。清代，佳洋隶属中和乡感应里二十九都。[1]

经济[edit]

村民主要靠种植李果、竹子加工和劳务经商为生。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的长坪寨是一处古寨，寨中保存有房屋、眠床、衣橱等旧物。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，佳洋村经福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
