漈头村位于嵩口镇东北部，在笔架山麓东面，地处龙漈溪一带的盆地中，距镇区约10公里。村名因末端有一处岩漈，村位于漈的上方而得。[1]

村落面积35平方千米，全村分3个自然村与10个村民小组。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域属亚热带气候，全村耕地约390亩，另有452亩果园；山地合计7017亩，内有林地5417亩与生态林1030亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属中和乡感应里二十九都。1958年时，此地归嵩口公社管理区；1961年成为嵩口人民公社的漈头生产大队；1984年设为嵩口镇漈头村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有香宝厝、礼棋厝与陈氏祖祠三座古厝。村头溪边树林间有迹石，形如龟蛇相会而入水。[1]

村南约2公里处有一道20余米高的瀑布；羊角乾土楼建于民国初年，起初既供居住，又用来防御。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年6月，漈头村列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；2017年8月，漈头村列入福建省公布的「第二批省级传统村落」名录。[1]
