下坂村位于嵩口镇北部，距嵩口镇约2.5公里。村名因溪坂分为上下游两段，本村居于下游而得名。[1]

村落面积13平方千米，自然村有3个，村民小组有21个，以芙蓉李为主要产业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，下坂改置为嵩口镇下坂村民委员会。1961年它是嵩口人民公社的下坂生产大队，1958年先归嵩口管理区。清代属和平乡英达里三十三都。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

下坂厝，又名用坦厝，始建于清乾隆至嘉庆年间，坐西朝东，占地约5220平方米，列入「福建省第九批省级文物保护单位」。现存建筑的面阔约106.95米，进深约57.25米。[2]

厝内有正大厅、下厅、横厝等建筑，房间二百余间；入口处放着乾隆年代的一组金丝楠木屏风，共十二扇。[2]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，下坂村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
