道南村位于嵩口镇街道以南，村名由此而来。村中建有纪念南宋词人张元幹的祠堂，属县级文化保护单位。[1][3]

村域面积为3.5平方千米；地势海拔145米，设10个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，道南改置为嵩口镇道南村民委员会。1961年它是嵩口人民公社的道南生产大队，此前的1958年则属嵩口管理区。清代时，此地隶属和平乡英达里三十四都。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的张元幹纪念祠为纪念南宋词人张元幹而建，祠堂总面积380平方米。博雅地名网载其被列入「中国名祠」「八闽名祠」等名录，属县级文化保护单位。[1][3]

距村约2公里的悬崖上有观音亭，又称观音寺，俯临大樟溪。[1][2]

经济[edit]

农历初一、十五设墟，周边乡镇以及尤溪、德化、闽清等县的群众来此交易农副土特产。[1]

文化[edit]

2016年12月，道南村列入「第四批中国传统村落」名录；2015年10月，入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1]
