邹湖村在嵩口镇东南部，离镇政府约1公里，203国道从村中穿过。村东是里洋村，西边连着玉湖村与溪湖村，南接龙湘村，北邻月阙村。[1]

村落总面积5.5平方千米，辖新郑、洋头新村两个自然村，共16个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：先祖由河南新郑迁来垦居，族人多姓郑，村名原为「新郑」，后改称邹湖。[1]

1984年，邹湖设为嵩口镇邹湖村民委员会。此前的1961年它是嵩口人民公社的邹湖生产大队，1958年属嵩口管理区；1936年至1948年称嵩口邹湖保。清代归和平乡英达里三十四都。[1]

经济[edit]

村内耕地约490亩，其中水田350亩；山地12600亩，另有果园1180亩，以青梅和李果为主。村民收入多来自水果种植和外出打工。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的五显宫始建于清道光年间，庙中供奉五显大帝、玛祖娘娘与卢公祖师等神明，香火旺盛。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，邹湖村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
