邹洋村位于福建省福州市闽清县下祝乡西北方向，距乡政府约11公里，全村面积3.7平方千米。[1]

村名的来历是：村周围山峦起伏，状如皱纹，村中间是一小块平原；因当地方言中「周」与「邹」读音相近，此地称作「邹洋」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代归奉政乡安仁里，元代是十九都之下的背垄村，明代与二十都诸都合为一图，清代属怀德乡，民国时为杉村乡渡塘保。[1]

1950年代这里先后归前塘乡、渡塘乡，后又划入前洋乡。1958年独立成队，隶火箭公社，此后随公社调整；1984年乡政府成立后，邹洋转为乡属村委会。[1]
