汶洋村位于福建省福州市闽清县下祝乡北向，距乡政府约9公里，全村面积4.8平方千米。[1]
村名的来历是：据说杨氏先人文天迁来此地，选龙秋岗立屋；屋前平坦开阔，最初叫作「文洋」。后因水源充沛，在「文」字旁添上三点，写成「汶洋」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
自宋至民国，此地一直是渡塘之下的自然村，归属跟着渡塘变化。[1]
新中国成立初期，这里先后隶属前塘乡、渡塘乡与东桥区，前洋乡曾吸收过此地，时间在1956与1957年之间。1958年有汶洋大队，1961年归下祝公社，1964年与渡塘合并，1973年恢复独立。1984年乡政府设立后成为乡属村委会。[1]
