洋边村位于福建省福州市闽清县下祝乡西北方向，距乡政府约5公里，全村面积2.8平方千米。[1]

村名的来历是：村前有大片平整的田畴，住房依傍西边的山脚，因此叫「洋边」。[1]

2020年12月，洋边村列入2020年度福建省森林村庄名单。[3]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办公示拟命名洋边村为福建省卫生村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代归奉政乡安仁里，元代为十九都之下的洋边村，明代与二十都诸都同为一图，清代属怀德乡洋边村，民国时为杉村乡洋前保。[1]

1950年隶前塘乡，1952年划归前洋乡，1958年归火箭公社的洋溪大队，1959年改隶东桥公社。1961年分出单独的洋边大队，属下祝公社；1973年并入洋溪，1977年复设。1984年乡政府成立后，洋边成为乡属村委会。[1]
