梧洋村位于福建省福州市闽清县下祝乡东南方向，距乡政府约12公里，全村面积4.6平方千米。[1]
村名的来历与地势和草场有关：村中山坡海拔约940米，草场广布，向来宜于放牧，起初叫作「牛羊」；因当地方言中「牛」与「梧」同音，才改为「梧洋」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代归奉政乡安仁里，元代为十九都之下的村落，明代与二十都诸都合为一图，清代属怀德乡，民国时隶杉村乡祝岭保。[1]
新中国成立后，梧洋在1950年代数次改隶，1959年单独设大队并隶属东桥公社，1961年改归下祝公社。1984年7月乡政府成立后，该村成为乡属村委会。[1]
