池楼村位于福建省福州市闽清县下祝乡东南方向，距乡政府约12公里，全村面积5.6平方千米。[1]

村名的来源与景物有关：村边一口池塘旁立着一座木构的大横楼，人们便以此为村名「池楼」。[1]

2021年12月，池楼村列入2021年度福建省森林村庄名单。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代归奉政乡安仁里；元代划在十九都之下，只是一个小村。清代为怀德乡杉村村的一部分，民国时归杉村乡的杉村保。[1]

新中国成立后经历多次改隶，1963年曾分出池楼大队，1964年又并回杉村大队，1977年复设。1984年7月乡政府成立后，池楼成为乡属村委会。[1]
