兰口村位于福建省福州市闽清县下祝乡东南方向，距乡政府约17公里，全村面积3.3平方千米。[1]
村名的来历与村口的树林有关：相传古时村口古树参天，最初称「林口」，后因方言中「林」与「兰」音近，改称「兰口」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地宋时归奉政乡安仁里，元代划为十九都下的一村，清代属怀德乡后锦村，民国时并入杉村乡一带。[1]
新中国成立后，村子先后隶属梧峰乡与杉村乡。1961年下祝公社设立，此地遂成兰口大队。1984年改为下祝乡政府之下的兰口村委会。[1]
